The Schwartz Counseling Team

EMDR | Yoga | QiGong | Psychotherapy

Mental Health Practioners

Our mental health practitioners are completely devoted to the body-mind approach to healing traumatic experiences. All of our clinicians are highly trained in many areas of psychotherapy, but what they all hold in common is training in EMDR. It’s the core of how we treat trauma and powerfully effective for many people.

Jacob Schwartz, LMHC

Director of Clinical Services

I founded this clinic with a simple idea: Our patients deserve the best care possible, with real results.  It's clear in the mental health field: The body holds onto traumatic experiences in a physical way and simply talking about trauma is not enough.

In my search to find ways to help patients recover from traumatic memories the combination of EMDR and Movement Therapy became the clear treatment of choice. I witnessed people, totally disconnected from their bodies, begin to heal and feel ok during gentle, safe, supportive yoga sessions. It supported the EMDR and created a safe vessel in the body for people of all ages and walks of life to heal and finally, really, let go of old memories.

I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to help people and very proud of my team.
